Your clipboard should be a workspace, not a disappearing act.
Switch between the familiar clipboard problem and the organized ClipVault workflow.
One new copy can erase the thing you still need.
Links scatter, code gets recopied, and reusable replies are rebuilt from memory.
Every useful copy stays searchable and ready.
Find by content or source, organize by context, and reuse without breaking focus.
Recent clips, one click away.
Search the current workspace, filter by type, reveal privacy-blurred content, copy, pin, favorite, move, delete, or pause capture without leaving the page you are on.
Workspace-aware history
Switch between Personal, Product, or client histories.
Automatic type detection
Recognizes links, email, code, OTPs, JSON, phone numbers, HTML, colors, and text.
Fast capture controls
Pause for five minutes, an hour, or until you intentionally resume.
Optimistic actions
Pin, favorite, move, and copy interactions update immediately.
const response = await fetch('/api/projects'); const projects = await response.json();

Visit supportWhat is ClipVault?
ClipVault is a licensed Chrome extension that turns copied text into a searchable local workspace with folders, workspaces, text tools, privacy controls, analytics, version history, sequential paste queues, and live WebRTC sharing.
Which browsers are supported?
The supplied extension targets Google Chrome version 109 and newer. Support for other browsers has not been confirmed.
How does ClipVault save copied content?
It listens for page copy and cut actions and uses an offscreen extension document to detect browser-interface clipboard changes such as address-bar or native context-menu copies.
Where is clipboard data stored?
Normal clip history, folders, settings, queues, versions, and local analytics are stored in the browser’s local extension databases. Explicit Live Share sessions transfer selected text to the connected peer.
Can I search and organize clips?
Yes. Search clip content or domains, filter by type, sort records, pin or favorite items, create folders, and keep separate local workspaces.
Can clips be edited or recovered?
Yes. The dashboard includes editable previews, text transformations, version history, Trash, restore, and permanent deletion controls.
Does ClipVault work offline?
Local history and tools are designed around browser-local storage. License validation is checked periodically and the code includes a seven-day grace period after a successful validation if the licensing service is temporarily unavailable.
Does ClipVault require an account?
The extension does not implement a ClipVault account sign-in. A valid license key is required to unlock the product.
How does Live Share work?
Selected text is sent only after a temporary WebRTC connection is established and the recipient reviews and accepts the transfer. Public STUN servers are used, and an optional user-configured TURN relay can help on restrictive networks.
How can I delete stored information?
Use Clear All Clips, Empty Trash, Reset Analytics, workspace and folder deletion controls, or Deactivate & Remove for the saved license on that browser.
Stop losing the things you copy.
Build a searchable, organized vault for the text, links, snippets, and information you use every day.
