Acceptance of terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the ClipVault Chrome extension, its related website, product demonstrations, support materials, and license. By purchasing, installing, activating, or using ClipVault, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not purchase, install, activate, or use ClipVault.
Product license
Subject to payment, successful license validation, and compliance with these terms, ClipVault grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the product for lawful personal or business purposes.
The supplied product code identifies the offer as ClipVault Lifetime and describes it as a one-time purchase. “Lifetime” must be defined in the final legally reviewed version as [LIFETIME_LICENSE_DEFINITION], including how product availability, platform changes, and support affect that term.
Device activation limits, if any, are controlled by the issued license entitlement. You may need to deactivate an old device before activating another.
Permitted use
- Install and use ClipVault on devices allowed by the purchased license.
- Save, organize, transform, and reuse clipboard text that you are entitled to process.
- Use local workspaces, folders, analytics, privacy controls, version history, and sequential queues.
- Use Live Share to transfer selected text between consenting, connected users or devices.
- Keep reasonable backup records where important information should not rely on a single browser profile.
Restricted use
You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits:
- Share, resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially distribute a license key to unauthorized users.
- Circumvent, disable, tamper with, or attempt to defeat license validation or device activation controls.
- Use ClipVault to unlawfully intercept, collect, retain, transfer, or misuse another person’s confidential, personal, or protected information.
- Use Live Share to send malicious, unlawful, or unauthorized content.
- Misrepresent ClipVault, its ownership, or your relationship with the product.
- Use the product in a way that violates law, third-party rights, browser-store rules, or provider terms.
Purchases and pricing
The configured standard price is USD $30. A secure checkout and licensing service provides payment processing, tax handling where applicable, customer records, and license delivery.
The final checkout page controls the amount actually charged. You are responsible for reviewing the displayed price, currency, product, and terms before completing payment.
ClipVault does not implement a subscription or recurring renewal in the supplied product code. Do not infer any billing frequency beyond the one-time ClipVault Lifetime offer currently implemented.

Refund policy
The final refund, cancellation, chargeback, and defective-product terms have not been supplied. Insert the approved policy here and ensure the checkout page matches it exactly: [REFUND_POLICY].
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Intellectual property
ClipVault, its software, source code, design, product name, branding, documentation, website content, and related materials are owned by [LEGAL_ENTITY] or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
The product license gives you permission to use ClipVault; it does not transfer ownership of the product or its intellectual property.
User responsibilities
- Protect your browser profile, devices, license key, and any configured TURN credentials.
- Review blacklisted domains, Incognito capture, sensitive-text blur, analytics, and cleanup settings for your context.
- Confirm that you have permission to store, transform, or share clipboard content.
- Review incoming Live Share manifests before accepting transfers.
- Maintain independent copies of critical information. ClipVault is a productivity tool, not a guaranteed backup service.
- Keep Chrome and the extension reasonably up to date.
Third-party services
ClipVault relies on or interoperates with third-party services, including:
- Google Chrome for extension APIs, permissions, browser storage, and distribution when published.
- Licensing service for checkout, payment processing, license issuance, validation, activation, and deactivation.
- Public Google STUN servers to help establish WebRTC peer connections.
- User-selected TURN providers when a user configures a relay for restrictive networks.
Those providers operate under their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability, security, pricing, or future changes.
Product availability and updates
We may update ClipVault to add, change, repair, or remove features; respond to browser or platform changes; address security or legal issues; or improve compatibility. Chrome API, browser-store, operating-system, network, licensing, STUN, and TURN changes may affect functionality.
Final commitments regarding maintenance duration, compatibility, support, and the meaning of Lifetime access must be added here after business and legal approval: [PRODUCT_SUPPORT_AND_UPDATE_COMMITMENT].
Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClipVault is provided “as is” and “as available.” The final disclaimer should address fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, data loss, browser compatibility, and third-party services: [APPROVED_WARRANTY_DISCLAIMER].
We do not promise that every clipboard action can be captured on every website, browser state, security boundary, device, or network.
Limitation of liability
Insert the legally approved limitation of liability, exclusions, liability cap, and mandatory consumer-law carve-outs for the governing jurisdiction: [LIMITATION_OF_LIABILITY].
Potential risks to address include lost or unavailable clipboard data, unintended capture caused by user configuration, unauthorized device or browser access, failed Live Share connections, third-party outages, and misuse of stored content.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate a license where legally permitted if the license was obtained fraudulently, the key is shared or resold without authorization, license controls are circumvented, or these terms are materially violated.
You may stop using ClipVault, deactivate the current browser, remove the license key, clear local data, and uninstall the extension. Any refund rights remain governed by the final approved refund policy and applicable law.
Governing law and disputes
Governing law, courts, venue, dispute procedure, notice, arbitration if any, and consumer-law exceptions have not been confirmed. Add approved wording here: [GOVERNING_LAW_AND_DISPUTE_RESOLUTION].
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product, pricing, providers, law, or business arrangements change. The current version displays its “Last updated” date and any notice required by applicable law.
